Motifs/Patterns: This handloom pure muslin silk jamdani saree is woven in a warm rose gold — a soft, burnished tone that sits between blush and carrot, with a coppery warmth that glows through the sheer muslin silk ground. The colour shifts gently as the fabric moves, appearing more pink in shadow and more golden where light passes through the translucent weave. Dense jamdani butis are scattered generously across the entire body in rose gold and silver zari — delicate floral motifs placed closely together in an all-over arrangement that gives the saree a rich, textured surface without ever feeling heavy. Small silver dots are interspersed between the larger butis, adding a secondary rhythm to the pattern.
The pallu is a dramatic departure — a dense, opulent expanse of gold zari jaal work set against a deep black ground. The jaal features an intricate, tightly woven leaf pattern that covers the entire pallu surface in shimmering gold, flanked by bold black and gold striped bands on either side. A transition zone of dark charcoal with gold zari stripes bridges the rose gold body into this striking pallu, creating a layered, architectural composition. The contrast between the soft, airy rose gold body and the heavy, lustrous black-and-gold pallu is deliberate and arresting.
The saree comes with a running blouse piece in a contrasting black with fine golden zari pinstripes running vertically — a sharp, tailored accent that echoes the pallu's dark palette while remaining understated enough to complement the body.
Border Details: The borders carry a gold zari edging running along both the top and bottom selvedge, framing the rose gold body with a clean, warm metallic line.
Special Techniques: Pure muslin silk jamdani with dense butis is one of the most labour-intensive forms of handloom weaving. The muslin silk base is created by interlacing ultra-fine silk yarn on a handloom, producing a fabric that is sheer, lightweight, and fluid. This is a yarn-dyed saree — the rose gold hue is dyed into the silk threads before they are set on the loom, ensuring the colour is embedded within the fibre itself. The dense jamdani butis are then hand-woven into this ground using the supplementary weft technique: the weaver introduces gold zari threads with small throw shuttles, placing each motif individually as the fabric progresses row by row. When butis are this densely packed, the weaving slows considerably — each row requires multiple supplementary insertions, and the weaver must maintain consistent tension and spacing across every repeat to keep the pattern even across the full width of the saree. The pallu's dense jaal work demands even greater skill, as the gold zari coverage is near-total, requiring the weaver to manage the interplay between the ground weave and the metallic threads with absolute control. The result is a saree that carries extraordinary handwork within a fabric that still drapes with the ease and lightness of muslin silk.
Season: All seasons
Care Instructions: Only dry cleaning. Never steam iron. If ironing at home, place a cotton/mulmul cloth on top of the saree and use your iron at the lowest heat setting. Our skilled artisans use natural dyes for all our handloom collection and this will protect the intricate zari work, fabric and wont harm your precious handloom.
Store in a cotton bag or a muslin cloth to protect against moisture."

Handloom sarees are entirely hand-woven on traditional looms by skilled artisans. Natural variations like minor thread ends, slight pattern variations, or subtle texture differences are authentic characteristics, not defects. These make each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
We photograph our sarees professionally to show accurate colors. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings and lighting. The natural handloom process may also create subtle color variations, which add to its authenticity.
