Motifs/Patterns: This handloom silk tissue jamdani saree comes in a beautiful old rose hue — a soft, muted pink with warm golden undertones that shimmer through the tissue weave, giving the fabric an ethereal, luminous quality.
The body of the saree features delicate jamdani motifs arranged in neat linear vertical lines running across the entire length. Each motif is woven in fine silver zari with a striking fuchsia pink thread at its centre, creating a subtle yet captivating contrast against the old rose ground.
This is an all-over design saree with no distinct pallu — the jamdani pattern flows uniformly from end to end, and the pallu edge is finished with handmade tassels.
The saree comes with a running blouse piece in the same old rose tissue. Additionally, we are providing a complementary pure katan silk brocade blouse piece in fuchsia pink, densely woven with silver zari jaal work — designed to pair as a complete styling concept, giving you a ready ensemble that balances the saree's understated elegance with the richness of the brocade.

Special Techniques: Silk tissue jamdani is among the most refined expressions of the handloom tradition. The tissue base is created by interlocking fine silk yarn with real zari threads during the weaving process itself, producing the fabric's characteristic translucent shimmer. This is a yarn-dyed saree, meaning the silk threads are dyed in the old rose shade before being set on the loom, ensuring the colour is deeply embedded in every fibre rather than applied after weaving. The jamdani motifs are then individually hand-woven into this tissue ground using the supplementary weft technique — each motif is inserted by hand with a separate bobbin during the weaving process, making every single one a small act of precision and patience. The result is a saree where craft, colour, and texture come together in a piece that is impossibly light yet visually rich.
