Motifs/Patterns: This saree is a stunning magenta paired with delicate silver zari weaving running across the body, border, and pallu. The magenta is rich and feminine, like the deepest bloom of bougainvillea, while the silver lifts it with a quiet, regal shine. Together, they create a color combination that completely transforms what we usually expect from linen sarees.
Being a pure handloom linen saree, it is incredibly lightweight, soft, and airy, making it perfect for Indian summers while still feeling luxurious enough for any season. It drapes effortlessly and breathes like a cool breeze. The traditional design paired with this fresh color play makes it the kind of saree that suits everywhere, from puja ceremonies and religious rituals to corporate events, award functions, and formal or informal gatherings.
The body is in that gorgeous magenta linen, and scattered across it are delicate silver jamdani booties woven in the traditional Jamdani needle technique. The booties sit evenly across the saree, like little silver stars on a magenta sky. The Jamdani work gives the body a quiet, hand-made beauty, where every motif has been built thread by thread by hand. The result is a body that feels soft, elegant, and lightly detailed, never overdone.
The pallu is grand, woven entirely in the traditional Banarasi weaving technique. It carries heavy silver zari work in intricate floral and geometric patterns, layered in detailed bands across the fabric. The silver shines beautifully against the magenta, giving the pallu a luminous, almost jewellery-like finish. The moment you drape this saree, the Banarasi pallu becomes the centerpiece, telling a story of heritage craft in every motif.
Border Details: The borders are where this saree shows off its craftsmanship. Running along both the top and bottom is a sleek deep purple, almost eggplant-toned edging, paired with beautiful silver zari work woven in the traditional Banarasi style. The deep purple frames the magenta body like a rich velvet ribbon, while the silver zari sits in detailed patterns that catch the light beautifully. It is a border that feels royal, structured, and full of old-world charm.
Special Techniques: This is a pure handloom linen saree, woven entirely by hand on a traditional loom. Linen is one of the trickier yarns to weave because it is stiff and prone to breaking, so balancing it with delicate silver zari requires real skill and patience from the weaver.
What makes this saree truly special is that it brings together two different traditional hand-weaving techniques in one piece. The booties scattered across the body are done in the Jamdani needle technique, where each motif is inserted by hand directly onto the loom using fine needles, motif by motif, while the base fabric is being woven. This is one of India's oldest and slowest hand-weaving traditions, where a skilled weaver may finish only a few inches of jamdani in a full day. The borders and the rich pallu, on the other hand, are woven in the Banarasi style, where extra silver threads are layered into the fabric during weaving to build raised, detailed patterns directly into the cloth, almost like embroidery built right into the weave.
The saree is yarn-dyed, which means the linen threads are dyed in this rich magenta shade before weaving begins. This locks the color deep into the fibers and gives it that lasting, even finish that does not fade or sit on the surface like a print. The silver zari used throughout is tested zari, meaning the metal content has been verified for quality, so the shine stays bright and does not blacken or dull over time. Years from now, this saree will still glow the way it does today.
Season: All seasons
Care Instructions: Only dry cleaning. Never steam iron. If ironing at home, place a cotton/mulmul cloth on top of the saree and use your iron at the lowest heat setting. Our skilled artisans use natural dyes for all our handloom collection and this will protect the intricate zari work, fabric and wont harm your precious handloom.
Store in a cotton bag or a muslin cloth to protect against moisture."

Handloom sarees are entirely hand-woven on traditional looms by skilled artisans. Natural variations like minor thread ends, slight pattern variations, or subtle texture differences are authentic characteristics, not defects. These make each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
We photograph our sarees professionally to show accurate colors. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings and lighting. The natural handloom process may also create subtle color variations, which add to its authenticity.
